Executive Team
Refaat B. Sami
Mr. Refaat Sami holds a B-General Building Contractor license with the State of California and has over 35 years of experience in the general contracting and construction services industry after graduating from the Engineering School (Cairo-Egypt). He has extensive experience managing private and public works projects in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Sami has successfully completed multi-million dollar projects for clients in the residential, retail, commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors.
Maher Nawar, P.E.
Mr Maher Nawar is a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California. He has over 35 years of experience in varieties of civil engineering aspects in both private and public sectors. He works as a project manager in both design and construction management. Mr Nawar participates in the preparation of the annual budget for capital improvement projects for public sector. He carries projects from planning stage to completion of construction.
Robert Mc Cumsey
Mr. Robert Mc Cumsey is Vice President Construction Development for UCB. Mr. Mc Cumsey has over 25 years of Construction Management and Operations experience in large-scale mixed use, multi-family & assisted living construction development and management. He has spearheaded a number of high profile developments including one of the nation’s largest mixed-use master planned communities where he implemented cutting edge technology for residential and commercial development while working with premier development partners such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Playa Capital, Trammel Crow & The Irvine Company.
